Ever tried anything before that you have never done, but you don’t ask for help because you think you should know how to do it?
I have, so I wrote Chapter 3 “Expired In The Pantry and Other Tales Of An Imperfect Motherhood” with the I-think-I-should’s in mind.
I thought I should be the perfect mother, and I found out the hard way that I couldn’t be. Then I beat myself up over it with guilt. Finally I wrote TILT, to help us all understand how “balance is impossible;” we need to learn how to TILT instead.
Let go of the “I think I should’s…”, learn, and become the “I am glad I did’s!”
